This week I learned about “playing” in the classroom. I really want to incorporate some kind of game into any of my subjects. The trouble with this is that I cannot download anything to the students’ ipads (which is why they don’t have the class dojo app). I enjoyed listening to Gamifi. There are so many educational games out there; I just need to find what best fits my classroom and my students’ needs. I’m still hoping to get Minecraft, or at least download it to my ipad and test it out first. My students like to go on Hoodamath (the website, not app). There are a lot of fun games on there, so whenever my students have that extra time in math, I let them play for awhile.
